ABOUT NATURAL ARBOR CARE
Tree care runs
in the family.
Four generations of tree-care experience. A family business built around thoughtful pruning, natural form, and care for the trees that matter to you.

EXPERIENCE BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP
A lifetime around trees.
Charles grew up in tree care. As the fourth generation in his family to do this work, he started young on the ground, then worked his way into climbing and tree assessment. Years alongside his father shaped his approach, and he went on to become an ISA Certified Arborist.
Charles and his father founded Natural Arbor Care in 2010. His father retired in 2018, and the business remains a family effort, with Charles’s sister Jacquelin in the office and his brother-in-law Reid involved in estimates and completed-work inspections.
THE STANDARD BEHIND OUR NAME
“When we’re done, the tree should look like it grew that way.”
J Charles Turner · Founder & ISA Certified Arborist
That belief is why we’re called Natural Arbor Care. Our approach centers on careful hand pruning that respects each tree’s natural structure.

Founder & ISA Certified Arborist

I grew up in this industry. Some of my earliest memories are of going out on jobs with my dad when I was barely two years old. By eight, I was doing ground work, learning from some of the toughest, most knowledgeable people in the field.
My uncles were old school—hardworking, no shortcuts. My grandfather was steady, reliable, and deeply trusted by his customers. My dad showed me not just how to prune a tree properly, but how to treat people right—with respect, honesty, and genuine care.
Those lessons became the foundation for Natural Arbor Care. The name reflects the philosophy I learned early on. When a tree is properly cared for, it should still look natural. It should never look forced or over-pruned. Every recommendation we make is guided by what’s best for the long-term health, structure, and beauty of the tree.
Today, as a fourth-generation tree care professional and ISA Certified Arborist, I still hold tight to those values. Caring for trees is second nature to me, but it’s also about caring for people. At the end of the day, what matters most is that you know your trees were cared for with love and respect.
MEET OUR HEAD CLIMBER
Jacinto Villasenor
More than 35 years
working with our family.

Jacinto brings decades of practical experience and a deep understanding of proper pruning to our crew.
He has worked with Charles and his family for more than 35 years, including before Natural Arbor Care was founded. His knowledge, attention to detail, and focus on safe, efficient work are an important part of the care we provide.
Charles values the way Jacinto understands each tree’s structure and carries that care into the canopy.
Our approach is taught in-house.
Every climber receives in-house training in our method of careful hand pruning, including those who join us with years of industry experience. It’s how we carry the same attention to detail into the canopy.
MORE THAN A TREE
Some trees hold a family’s history. Others have witnessed the history of our community.
A tree planted by a parent, sibling, or spouse. A shady place where your children play and grow. The familiar trees that make it feel like home.
For Charles, some of the most rewarding work is helping a cherished tree recover after years of poor pruning or declining health. Understanding what a tree means to you is part of understanding how to care for it.
We assess its condition, talk through the options, and look for a thoughtful path forward—with healthier, more natural growth as the goal.
Protecting the health of our community’s mature trees is a responsibility we take seriously, so they can continue to be part of our lives for generations to come.
